The forensic tag used in the majority of our products is redWeb redDNA™ which is composed of unique biosynthetic redDNA™.  RedDNA™ is available as an invisible solution or as a red dye which helps police officers and security personnel to identify a suspect fleeing the crime scene.

Each batch of redDNA™ contains a unique encrypted biosynthetic tag.  Once purchased, each batch whether a spray canister or a pot of grease or gel, is registered to an individual user and location.

RedDNA™ contains a red dye which remains on the skin and clothing for several days and an indelible UV dye which can only be seen under UV light.  It is this which contains the encrypted biosynthetic tag.  Once the redDNA™ trace has been swabbed and tested, the unique tag means that it can be linked back to the crime scene.  RedDNA™ is also available as an invisible covert solution, without the coloured dye.
